Amended COVID-19 Policy
Students and staff grades 7th-12th will be required to wear masks when they are in any setting that will not allow for social distancing.
Students:
A student, who tests positive for COVID-19, must quarantine 10 days from the onset of symptoms and be symptom and fever free for at least 72 hours prior to returning to school. If a student test positive but shows no signs of symptoms (an asymptomatic positive) day one begins the day after the positive test result.
Positives within a student/faculty household
Per the original COVID-19 policy, faculty members who are exposed to a positive family member will be monitored closely and quarantined if becoming symptomatic or testing positive themselves. Additionally, exposed faculty must wear a mask/face covering and report to the office for temperature check multiple times a day.
Students who are exposed to a positive family member within their household must quarantine for 10 days.
Added to amended policy of 09/11/2020
Policy on COVID-19 was amended, as per current CDC guidelines, to change to a 10-day quarantine for those who tested positive and those who have been quarantined. Everyone must be symptom and fever free for 72 hours before their return to school.
