Central Hinds Academy is pleased to announce that Tyanne McCoy will be serving Central Hinds Academy as Secondary Principal beginning June 1st, 2023.
Mrs. McCoy joined the faculty at CHA in 2014 and has served as the cheer sponsor, the school nurse, the senior class sponsor, and teacher during her tenure. In 2021, Mrs. McCoy earned her Masters in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English which has allowed her to teach CHA's Dual Enrollment English courses for seniors through Hinds Community College.
"I am excited about this opportunity to serve CHA in new ways. I am especially looking forward to working with our secondary students, parents, and faculty each day to enhance the academic opportunities for our students. Go, Cougars!," Mrs. McCoy said.

I am particularly thrilled for our school to have an administrator with her pursuit of excellence and attention to detail. ” said Head of School, Steve McCartney. “With Mrs. McCoy joining Mrs. Nix, Mrs. Gray, Coach Gantz, and myself on the administrative team, I could not be more excited for the future.”
