The teacher that will be recognized this week is Mrs. Ashley Dodson. Mrs. Dodson is originally from St. Joseph, Louisiana but currently lives in Raymond, Mississippi. She graduated from Tensas Academy in Louisiana. After high school Mrs. Dodson graduated from Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia. She has been teaching for seventeen years and has been teaching at Central Hinds Academy for two years. Mrs. Dodson is a secondary teacher that teaches Math and English. Mrs. Dodson is married and has two boys. She also has grandchildren and they call her yaya. In her free time, especially during Summer, Mrs. Dodson loves being outside and going to the lake. If Mrs. Dodson could choose a favorite Christmas movie, it would be Elf.
The teacher that will be recognized this week is Ms. Ann Alexander. Ms. Ann currently teaches third grade at Central Hinds Academy. She has been a teacher here since 1995 and has taught fifth and sixth grades as well. She is from Raymond, Mississippi and graduated from Central Hinds Academy. After high school Ms. Ann graduated from Belhaven University and has been a teacher ever since. She has three children that graduated from Central Hinds. Besides teaching, Ms. Ann loves to read books in her spare time. Lastly, her favorite Christmas movie is It’s a Wonderful Life.
